Training With My Australian Shepherd Puppy-He Makes A Mistake?!

Not shown in the video was the couple minutes spent outside the store prior to going in, to make sure he was mentally prepared to train. He did amazing outside, focused quickly, was following my movements, so we went inside. All in all, he did do very good and I am proud of him, but he has a nasty habit of wanting to sniff everything.
If I only have him in a "with me" type of heel, then he is allowed to go and sniff as long as he isn't pulling me, but I had asked him to heel and stay close. To work on it, I applied slight pressure until he turned back, then marked it, got him back into a heel, and praised and rewarded.
For only being a year old, and for not being able to do much public training while he was growing, he did very well and I am really proud of him! But this is definitely going to be something we work on more in the future.
