Rare Chinese Cash Coins from the Jin Dynasty 1115 - 1234. The Jurchens were oppressed under the Liao Dynasty and they revolted and overthrown the Liao ( Qidans/Khitans ) with the help of the Song Dynasty. Finding the Song Dynasty was weak militarily; the newly formed Jin Dynasty started attacking the Song and finally conquered part of Song territory driving the Chinese South to become Southern Song Dynasty.
Jin Dynasty Coins are of better quality than Liao and rare especially Coins minted after 1200 when the Jins were in constant warfare with the Mongols.
