In this video, we explore the Begusarai 4-Lane Elevated Flyover, being built on National Highway 31 (NH-31) in Bihar.
This bridge, constructed by Altis–Transrail JV, spans about 4.3 to 4.5 km with an estimated cost of ₹400 crore.
Begusarai isn’t a small district — it’s home to major industries like the Indian Oil Refinery (India’s 2nd refinery after Guwahati) and an NTPC Power Plant, because of which heavy vehicle movement on NH31 is very common.
That’s also why traffic jams and accidents have been frequent here.

Once completed, this flyover will not only reduce accidents but also make local traffic flow smoother and safer.
