Can you beat Tails of Iron without Armor?

Rats! I'm not very good at this game am I? Tails of Iron is a brutal tale of a small rat king trying to fight back the invading frog forces and it's not going well! Especially since I'm choosing to do it without ever improving my defense stat by wearing better armor! Too many clothing choices for me, better to not choose at all! Hopefully bug juice and perseverance will be enough to win this tale of tails!
Rules
No wearing any armor whatsoever in combat
No changing your shield to anything but the default one(cosmetic switch is fine obviously)
Bloody Whiskers Difficulty to maximize the suffering!
Hopefully be a worthy rat king and legend!
