Tasmania South West including a Gordon River cruise with the final destination this week at Mt Field rainforest. With three weeks already completed exploring the Tasmanian West coast, it is ow time to head into the central highlands. And still the countryside keeps giving, truly a great range of hills, valleys and lush rainforests, with an occasional breathtaking waterfall.

The Tasmanian countryside seems to want to keep on giving. The river cruise up the Gordon river was fascinating and even more so with a stopover at Sarah Island to learn some of its best kept secrets. And, like a good Holywood adventure, all is not totally revealed until a visit to the local playhouse to immerse oneself into Australia's longest running play, "The Ship That Never Was."
