Vodafone Idea Ltd shares ended lower on Friday, January 9, despite a sharp intraday rally after the telecom operator received relief from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) matter.
The stock closed at Rs 11.30, down 1.74 per cent, after swinging sharply during the session. Vodafone Idea shares had jumped as much as 8 per cent earlier in the day, touching a high of Rs 12.52, before paring gains. The stock opened at Rs 12.20 and slipped to a low of Rs 11.20. The company’s market capitalisation stood at around Rs 1.22 lakh crore. The stock is trading close to its 52-week high of Rs 12.80, against a 52-week low of Rs 6.12.
