Stéphanie d'Oustrac is one of those lyric singers whose vocal vivacity never ceases to impress. A specialist in the French and Baroque repertoires, the mezzo-soprano has graced the stage of La Monnaie on numerous occasions, notably in Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice, Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict and the world premiere of Mernier’s La dispute. This season, as well as performing Costanza in I Grotteschi (Monteverdi) and the title role in Carmen (Bizet), she will be sharing her expertise with members of the MM Academy – and you! – during an open masterclass.
