Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway : Lifeline of Dholera SIR - Packages 1 & 2 | Nov 2025 Update

In this video I have covered the detailed report of the 109 km long Ahmedabad Dholera Expressway (NE-8) by NHAI. It is an under construction 4 lane access-controlled road with a route alignment connecting Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej and Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) via Dholera International Airport at Navagam.

Ahmedabad Dholera Expressway’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) was prepared by SMEC India Pvt. Ltd.

This greenfield expressway is part of the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project (DMIC), and its land acquisition was completed in July 2020. Construction contracts were awarded in November 2020 to Sadbhav Engineering, GHV India and DRA Infracon. It features 8 major interchanges and forms the central spine of DSIR (Dholera Special Investment Region).
