I know several students want to take the 2020 AP Lang exam on a device but aren’t sure if they will be able to annotate on the screen. This video demonstrates 3 ways to take notes by hand. I tried to demo each one and talk through the process, so it is a bit of a longer video. However, my students have said that demos help, so I hope this helps others as well. These methods can be easily adapted to your learning or note-taking style. I showed all 3 ways with the same passage, but presumably, you would choose one method and stick to it. If you have any tips, let me know in the comments below. The College Board will release simulations about how the exams will work at the end of April. These are some strategies to practice in the meantime.
