Meet Dave!
Dave is an active real estate investor who likes to buy value add properties
and other buy and hold investments.
Dave likes to develop properties that generate a positive cash flow each year, the problem is that, income producing properties also produce high tax bills.
One of the expenses that can be used to offset Dave’s tax bill is depreciation on the property.
Depreciation is an allowance for the wear and tear that the property experiences over time.
