apologies for how the video looks. i had to use an upscaler so youtube wouldn't make it completely unwatchable, but a side effect of that was that it smoothed out individual pixels. i didn't spend much time trying to fix it since this is, in the words of a very wise man, "such a shitty game"
anyways, i can't imagine ever speedrunning this game again. if you want to beat it, have fun. it's certainly possible. didn't do bubble skip in the ice cave, a five-second death, lost several seconds on the final boss, general slop elsewhere . . ... yeah. but even with all that, it's still a fair run, & i cut the previous world record by 3 minutes.
