Foraging a wild salad doesn't have to be complicated. This is a super simple salad based on Common Chickweed and the leaves of a Norway Maple tree. I also add some Wild Field Mustard pickles that are so simple to make. Wild food is real food for regular people. It's out there, if you look and get to know even just a few plants.
Common Chickweed - Stellaria media (Carnation family, Caryophyllaceae)
Norway Maple - Acer platanoides (Soapberry family, Sapindaceae)
Wild Field Mustard - Brassica rapa (Cabbage family, Brassicaceae)
