⛈ Split into two sections! Modified services on the MTR Kwun Tong Line during rainstorm - 2023/09/08

Hong Kong was hit by a record-breaking rainstorm from 2023/09/07 to 09/08 which caused a lot of flooding reports. Some MTR stations needed to close some of their exits and a few even were damaged by flooding. Part of Kowloon Tong was temporarily closed and Wong Tai Sin was closed all day to split the Kwun Tong Line in two. The closure of Wong Tai Sin split the Kwun Tong Line into two sections: Whampoa to Shek Kip Mei and Choi Hung to Tiu Keng Leng. Both sections received reduced services. There were no shuttle buses at the time due to severe weather conditions. The line remained separated until the next day, and it broke again after a few hours of reopening. For the reopening, I will make a separate video on this matter later.

香港在2023年9月7至8日遇上百年一遇的雨災，黑雨警告維持時間更加破紀錄。期間，暴雨導致香港多處發生水浸，部分水浸更影響港鐵車站，部分車站需要關閉部分出口，有些車站更遭到水浸破壞。其中東鐵綫九龍塘站需要暫時關閉1號月台，觀塘綫黃大仙站更加關閉整日。黃大仙站關閉導致觀塘綫被斬開，分別是黃埔至石硤尾及彩虹至調景嶺，班次也相對地減少。觀塘綫直至翌日頭班車前依然分開兩段，而在全線復運後數小時黃大仙站再次有故障，觀塘綫再次被斬開兩段。關於觀塘綫再次被斬開和重開一事我會製造後續影片。
