Gola Bhaat (Recipe for 4 people)
For Gola (Chana Dal & Udad Dal Dumplngs)
Chan Dal -1 Kaori (soaked in water for 3 hours)
Moong dal- 1/2 katori (soaked in water for 3 hours)
Garlic- 10 t0 12 petals
Ginger- 1 inch
Green Chillies- 4
Curry Leaves- 12 to 15
Coriander with stem- 1/2 bunch
Jeera- 1Tsp
Salt- 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli powder-3/4th Tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4th Tsp
Coriander powder- 1 Tsp
Hing - 3 pinch
Amchur powder- 1/2 Tsp
Til- 1 & 1/2 Tsp
Peanut Oil- 3 Tsp
For Rice
Ambe mohar or Basmati Rice- 2 Katori (washed and soaked for 20 minutes)
Water for cooking- 4 & 1/4th katori
Peanut Oil- 5 Tsp
Mustard Seeds- 1 Tsp
Cumin seeds- 1 Tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4th Tsp
Hing - 3 pinch
Salt- 1 Tsp
Chopped Coriander- 1 Katori
Maharashtrian Kadhi
Curd- 1 katori
Water- 3 katori
Peanut Oil-3 Tsp
Mustard Seeds-1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves- 10 to 12
Creen Chilli Cut in big pieces- 2
Methi seeds- 1/4th Tsp
Crushed Ginger- 1 inch
Turmeric Powder- 1/4thTsp
Hing - 2 pinch
Salt- 3/4th Tsp
Sugar- 3/4th Tsp
Chopped coriander- 1/2 Katori
Phodni for rice (Tadka)
Peant oil- 5 Tsp
Mustard seeds - 1Tsp
Jeera- 1/2 Tsp
Sandgi Mirchi (Maharashtrian stuffed Dried Chilles)-10 to 12
(Can Be replaced with curd chili or dried Red Chilies.)
Hing- 2 pinch
Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves- 10 to 12
