How is a herniated disc treated?

Disc herniations in the low back are a common cause of sciatica. Also known as disc bulges, ruptures, slips, or protrusions, herniated discs can pinch nerves and produce pain radiating down one or both legs. In this segment, I discuss the various treatments – ranging from non-operative management to surgical intervention with a special focus on endoscopic techniques.
