How to make fruit themed cupcakes with buttercream | Great for Beginners

What’s up guys! You all know that I’m not that great with piping and cupcakes that are only buttercream designs but I got asked if I could make these cupcakes for one of my Kids Camp students’ birthdays. She wanted to bring them to school. I couldn’t say no!!
Usually I would make the toppers out of fondant which would be a very clean look but they wanted them all buttercream so I decided to give it a shot. This quick tutorial will be great for even beginners because these are not something that I do and I was still able to complete these. I think anyone will be able to do them. Here are a list of supplies that you will need:
-Cupcakes (obviously lol)
-American buttercream (dyed into the following colors: white, black, pink, green, light green, light yellow, light red, & orange)
-Sanding sugar in the following colors: green, gold, yellow, red, and orange
-Piping bags
-Small offset spatula
-Gold pearl sprinkles
Optional (unless you don't want to struggle):
-Poppy Paints sprinkle pen
