We all enjoy drinking bubbles 🍾🥂.
Whether it is your favorite sports team ⚽🏈🏀⚾🏎️🏒 winning, a birthday 🎂🎉 party, a wedding 💍, or to put it simply, a happy occasion 😁 , bubbles 🥂 pair perfectly with smiles 😊 all over people's faces.
Despite the fact that it's considered as the elite of the bubbly/sparkling wines, champagne 🍾 is still relatively expensive and to put it simply, you can't enjoy a champagne as a daily drink.
I'd hate to disappoint you, but there are some amazing 😍 bubbly drinks that taste phenomenal and cost cheap so that you won't have to spend your whole salary on a drink !
1- Sparkling wine 🍾 (using the traditional method):
This 🥂 drink is very similar to champagne in terms of texture and aromas. It's relatively cheap and can genuinely impress your guests if you got your hands on the good ones.
It can be made from a different variety of grapes 🍇, the most notable ones being Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Thompson Seedless . . .
In Lebanon 🇱🇧, @latourba is a local winery that produces some delicious sparkling wines.
2- Prosecco 🍾
This 🥂 drink is made in Italy 🇮🇹, named after the village of Prosecco and produced in a large area spanned in 9 provinces.
It's made mainly from an Italian grape 🍇 called "Glera".
Prosecco can be relatively sweeter than champagne and sparkling wine (depending on the grams / liter of the residual sugar in the bottle)
3- Pet Nat 🍾
This 🥂 drink is like the cool 😎 kid of sparkling wines.
Pet Nat stands for Pétillant Naturel (Naturally Sparkling), and it gets its bubbles from the natural sugar present in grapes 🍇.
Undergoing its full fermentation inside the bottle 🍾, this drink offers bizarre colors, combined with a cloudy opacity, offering funky and flavorful tasting notes.
