Transform Petoskey Stones into Gorgeous Epoxy Coasters - DIY Tutorial

This was one of my first attempts at making some coasters with Petoskey stone slabs and epoxy resin. I was fairly happy with how they turned out, but now know a few things I want to do differently the next time I make these.

This is the pre-historic coral fossil Hexagonaria Percarinata; or more commonly known as the Petoskey Stone. Living in the northern part of Michigan's lower penisula allows friends and family members to go hunting for petoskey stones all the time.
