I've sended it back, I wasn't satiesfied with the quality. And for the info Gain was set on the camera on +23dB.
If you need more tips for better usage,
I highly recommend the video of Mark Wiemels:
• How to make your Rode VideoMicro sound PRO.
I still have to test it under windy condition, so I can't tell much about the outdoor perfomance.
So far the quality is not overwhelming, the difference is'nt so big. Maybe my settings weren't right.
But decide on your own, it's your choice, whether you love it or hate it.
