Here is a 3 layer Cassava Flan Cake you may want to keep in your favorite recipes.
PAN SIZE and QUANTITY used for this recipe;
2 nos. of 6” x 3” rectangular pan
1 no. of 8” diameter round pan
RECIPE:
Layer 1 : Caramel Top
6 tablespoon of sugar
Layer 2: Flan “Leche Flan” – Coconut milk version.
5 egg yolks
190g coconut milk (1 coconut) *Can also be replaced with 190g fresh/evaporated milk (1/2 can) if your not a fan of coconut.
190g condense milk (1/2 can)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Layer 3: Cassava Cake
1 kg Cassava “Kamoteng Kahoy” with skin (w/o skin 695g)
190g coconut milk (1 coconut) *Can also be replaced with 190g fresh/evaporated milk (1/2 can)
190g condense milk (1/2 can)
2 eggs at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
