The Goddess spends Her entire day, caring for Her children, feeding their hunger, quenching their worries, and soothing their hearts. And as the night nods into a weary yawn, the Lord returns to His beloved. Noticing Her droopy eyes, yet ready to gaze into His wishes, He stops Her, and says,
"Tonight, for once, let Your protective embrace be mothered by Me. Blink Your watchful eyes for a while, for I promise to watch over You, for after all, I am fortunate to be your better half."
This piece was premiered as a part of Narthaki Online's "A-nidrā - Celebrating Arudra Sivā" on the auspicious night of Sivaratri.
