Having a look at our direct drilled organic rye. We generally do use ploughing and cultivations in our organic rotation but this is one of the crops where we are trying to reduce cultivation. This will hopefully save money, improve soil structure, reduce mineral leaching and improve biodiversity. Let’s hope it works.
