I take a beat up vintage ECTO-1, clean it up and restore it into an ECTO-1A from my childhood. You'll see the technique of using hydrogen peroxide to brighten up the white plastic. I make the stickers look more like the vintage Kenner stickers that came with the ECTO-1A.
