gotenna Grid Down Communications for Preppers! Really?

In this video I assess the value of the #goTenna and gotenna MESH in a Grid down #disaster, survival or #shtf scenarios. Information was collected from press kits, technical specs, marketing packs, the FCC, and the goTenna website. this does not cover the gotenna mesh but I'll do a separate video on that in the coming months.

The gotenna make some pretty bold claims about survival preparedness and its ability to provide effective Communications in a grid down emergency scenario. I decided to take a close-up look at the device to see if it's all marketing hype, or if there's some legitimacy to the claims it makes about emergency communications and preparedness.

I know there have been lots of videos made buy survival and prepper channels on YouTube. Unfortunately these channels are for the most part, little more than preppe- tainment, providing you with what you want to hear, well racking up the views on their YouTube channels. You can't believe everything you hear, simply because someone has a prepper Channel on YouTube. many of us have study years to understand Communications and having a YouTube channel isn't necessarily validate one's expertise, in regards to emergency communications for survival & preparedness.

So the question is, is the gotenna a good solution for grid-down Communications during a disaster or overall preparedness?
