Fishing for Spring Iowa Walleye

In this video, we venture out to two of Iowa's popular fishing spots – the Cedar River, Iowa and the Little Wapsie River in Fairbank, Iowa – with hopes of landing some walleye. Known for its scenic beauty and great fishing potential, the Cedar River has long been a favorite for anglers looking to reel in trophy walleye. Similarly, the Little Wapsie River offers a peaceful environment and a chance to hook some great fish. However, despite our best efforts, things didn’t go as planned on this trip.

Join us as we take you along the riverbanks, trying different techniques, baits, and spots in search of that elusive walleye. From setting up our gear to casting out into the river, we document the ups and downs of the day. While we didn’t catch any fish this time, it’s all part of the adventure. Sometimes, the fish just aren’t biting, and that’s the reality of fishing.
