Before you throw out your tree, try putting it outside for the birds to enjoy. If you have feeders already it will provide cover and perches for the birds to use throughout the winter. No feeders? Place seeds directly on the branches or mix seed with peanut butter and smear that on the branches. Either way it is a great way to extend your tree's life and really relaxing to watch the birds use it. In this video, I'll show you how I set mine up and show you ways to get your kids involved.
