The discussion focused on the Compact of Free Association (COFA) and the Treaty obligations the U.S. Federal government has towards Micronesia and the Micronesians, including those who migrate to the U.S. The plight of Micronesians in the U.S. speaks of the federal government not living up to its obligations. The guests discussed also the Basic Health Hawaii provisions and practices since the inception of the health program.
