"You know, I think the game dictates the rhythm. I think that, you know, being a fan of basketball, it's just a conversation that three men will be having in a professional manner to represent what's happening in the game. And it just so happens that I'm somebody who hasn't been able to show or prove what I do, but I've done it. So now this is an opportunity for me to actually do it with those who do it all the time. So I'm looking forward to it. I aim to have fun. I aim to entertain and I aim to please."

"The preparation that I did was I did a lot of studying of the greats that I watched that did this when I was a kid. And one of the greatest was Chick Hearn. I love me some Chick Hearn. I loved the way he controlled the game where you didn't even have to, you know, see the game. You could just hear his voice and he could tell you exactly what was going on. So just watching and listening and learning from the greats and seeing how serious they were about their craft. That's how I am about what I do anyway. I don't believe NBC would have gave me this opportunity if they thought I was coming in there playing games. They know who I am and what I do. It's a great partnership that we have, and it just feels like this is a progression from what we started to what we actually trying to get to."

Gannon: "It is different having Snoop there. So he's gonna play off of Reggie, play off me, we're gonna be together and be on the couch like we're at home, sitting with you, calling an NBA game."
Miller: "And on top of that, he's done his research, right? He's come in prepared. Just came from coaches meetings. It's not like he's just showing up and saying, 'I'm here,' right? He's put in the work and the effort. And I think the broadcast will be seamless because of that."

And I would love to do more of this and I think this is a great start to be able show, you know what I'm saying, that I am cut for this."

Gannon: "Snoop elevates anything he's a part of. He did in Paris with the Olympics. It was a big part of that. We're gonna have him at the Winter Olympics in Milan, Cortina. So it's great to have him here tonight. We're going to talk hoops too. Look, normally my job is to set up Reggie. I get to set off Reggie and Snoop now. So it a plus one, which is not bad."
