This vlog is close to my heart — a return to where it all began. I brought my girlfriend to meet my family, walk the streets I grew up on, and taste the food that raised me. From home-cooked meals shared on the sidewalks of my childhood to exploring places that shaped my story, this trip was full of memories, flavor, and emotion.
We visited Taal Volcano, one of the smallest active volcanoes in the world, known for sitting inside a lake — which itself lies within another larger volcano. It’s a reminder of how beautiful and unpredictable nature can be.
We stopped by Paco Catholic School, where I spent my early years, and Manila Cathedral and Intramuros, the historic walled city built during the Spanish colonial era. Inside San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the Philippines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I revisited family history — my grandmother’s brother once served there as the head priest.
This video is a small piece of home — a glimpse of where I come from, and why I carry these roots wherever I go.
