Lights by the Lake 2025 transforms Jurong Lake Gardens into a luminous Mid-Autumn wonderland from 27 September to 12 October, with over 1,200 lanterns, immersive light shows, and vibrant cultural performances—all free to enjoy.
Held nightly from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, this year’s edition is the largest yet, weaving the legendary tale of Journey to the West into a dazzling tapestry of light and storytelling across Singapore’s iconic Jurong Lake Gardens.

🌕 Highlights of Lights by the Lake 2025
Lantern Displays Explore over 1,200 lanterns across Lakeside, Chinese, and Japanese Gardens. Key scenes include:

Three Battles with the White Bone Demon
Flaming Mountain
Chang’e and the Moonlit Garden
The Lantern Dream of Little Mei These installations bring Sun Wukong’s journey to life with vibrant artistry and cultural symbolism.

Cloud Pagoda Light Show
A crowd favorite returns: the Cloud Pagoda transforms every 30 minutes from 7:30pm to 10pm into a canvas of animated light and music, celebrating the moon’s glow and the spirit of transformation.

Cultural Showcases & Music Performances
Enjoy live music, traditional dance, and instrumentals at Wave Plaza and Ficus Lawn. The NParks Rockestra® concert series closes the festival with the theme “Dancing in the Moonlight”, featuring English and Mandarin hits.

Lantern Exploration Quest
Use the NEAR app to embark on a scavenger hunt and redeem limited-edition Jurong Lake Gardens pins—a fun, interactive way to explore the grounds.

Food Market
Refuel at the Lakeside Field with local bites and drinks in an alfresco setting, open from 5pm to 10:30pm daily.
