BMW F Series Parking Assist (PMA 5DP) Sensors, Wiring and Install - Part 1

Wires, sensors, and glorious OEM chaos!

This video dives into the electrifying process of installing PMA sensors on the front and rear bumpers to activate BMW's Park Assist system (Option 5DP)—complete with both parallel and perpendicular (horizontal) functionality.

This is the wiring phase of the retrofit madness—a critical step toward fully automated parking greatness. PMA sensors are routed and placed with precision (and probably a few zip ties), laying the groundwork for a smoother, smarter parking experience. The follow-up episode will tackle rear ABS sensors and bracket installation to complete the retrofit.
