This time I reached for a piece that many people around me might not even know. “Orpheus Song” comes from The Sandman — a poetic and dark story by Neil Gaiman, where mythology meets the philosophy of dreams.

In this part, we meet Orpheus, the son of Dream and his mortal love. His fate mirrors the ancient Greek myth: his music can move the hearts of gods, yet his love for Eurydice ends in tragedy — a loss he carries until the end.

For me, this was mostly a vocal challenge – the song is built on subtle emotional work, breath control, tonal balance, and restraint. It’s a piece where less truly means more – and that’s where its power lies.

It’s not just a cover. It’s an attempt to touch a legend
that sings about the power of a voice able to awaken the deepest layers of the soul.
