A Southwest Airlines pilot was stopped just moments before takeoff after authorities suspected he was intoxicated while on duty. The incident occurred earlier this year in Georgia, but newly released bodycam footage is now shedding light on what happened. A TSA officer became concerned after detecting the smell of alcohol as the pilot passed through airport security. The officer alerted law enforcement, who responded quickly and removed the pilot from the aircraft’s cockpit before the flight could depart.
