Junkyard Hunt + FIRST MERCH DROP!!

In today’s video, my boyfriend PrizzaMike and I take a road trip to a local junkyard that allegedly has two Nissan 350Zs on site — one of them recently added. With my 2005 Nissan 350Z, I had high hopes of scoring a front or rear bumper, so we made the hour-long drive to see what was left.

The first 350Z we find is already pretty picked over — no hood, no front bumper, and a damaged rear bumper — but surprisingly, it still has HR-style 350Z headlights, completely intact. If you know Z parts, you know how rare that is in a junkyard.

We then head over to the second, newly listed 350Z, hoping for better luck… but unfortunately the front bumper was already gone. The rear bumper looked promising — resprayed but intact — however, with 350Z trunks requiring a key fob and no battery in the car, things got complicated. The manual trunk release didn’t work, and it looked like someone else had already tried (and failed) to pry it open.

After walking around the wet, slushy junkyard, debating whether to ask staff to cut the trunk open or walk away, we ultimately decided to pass on the bumper and grab the headlights from the first car instead.

Back home, I use a headlight restoration kit to sand, polish, and seal the lenses — and honestly, the results were insane. You’d never guess these headlights came straight from a junkyard.
