Mai Tai Classic:
30ml: Aged Jamaican Rum
30ml: Rhum Agricole
15ml: Dry Curaçao
30ml: Lime Juice
15ml: Orgeat
5 Drops: Saline Solution (Optional)
Whip Shake for 5s & dump into an double old fashioned glass.
Garnish with loads of mint sprigs & spent/dried lime. Your choice when it comes to the lime garnish.
The Jamaican/Agricole rum blend really takes this drink to another level. Planteray Xaymaca/Appleton Estate 12y as a Jamaican rum of choice is recommended here.
For the Rhum Agricole I recommend Rhum J.M which is a very flavorful Agricole rum. This rum really goes well with the ”funk” of the Jamaican Rum
