My Honda Winner X just hit 9,800 kilometers, so it was time for some much-needed maintenance. In this video, I replaced the air filter myself to restore better airflow and help the engine breathe more efficiently — a quick and easy DIY task that any Winner X 150cc owner can do.
Since I don’t have the proper tools for a clean spark plug removal, I brought the bike to the motorcycle shop for a spark plug replacement and sprocket cleaning. While I didn’t film the actual shop process, I explain why these steps are important for long-term engine performance and drive chain reliability.
Hitting 9,800km is a good reminder that regular maintenance — like air filter changes, spark plug replacements, and sprocket cleaning — keeps your motorcycle running smoothly, especially for daily riders and long-distance commuters.
Whether you're into DIY motorcycle care or just learning how to take care of your Winner X, this video gives you a solid idea of what to expect around the 10,000km mark.
🎥 Filmed using: DJI Osmo Action 4 + iPhone 15
🏍️ Bike: Honda Winner X with 51mm elbow + VMAX pipe
