Lesson Description: This project focuses on a watercolor landscape, inspired by Edward Hopper. Kim, @ArtClassesforKids the host, is joined by her daughter Lily in this follow along painting session. She provides step by step instructions while creating a watercolor painting of an east coach beach scene from back in the early 1900s. Kim enriches the lesson by providing art history on the famous artist, Edward Hopper. While painting this beach scene, students will learn to draw this simple composition and try a variety of techniques with watercolor paint.
