Hey everyone, after turning a tough week into a good week, luck finally fell into place here during this ride because the way timing was scored was clutch as I would avoid massive delays on QBL due to somebody getting struck by a train at 63 Dr. However, a lot of of these types of incidents come from people who are subway surfing, which gets me to think that could’ve been what happened, but if it wasn’t subway surfing, thoughts and prayers go out to those involved. We would get very lucky because by the time our run took place, suspensions were lifted on QBL, everything went back to clockwork. And we got extremely lucky because we were actually the last Peak Direction Local (M) Train to Forest Hills for the day. The time has come that we take our final (M) Train roundtrip on 53 St. Not only that, but I met one of my fellow competitors from my Smash Local Group in Brooklyn on this ride, what a coincidence. It’s hard to believe that in less than three weeks, we get the route swap. The (M) has served 53 St well for 15 years and it will be a lot of fun taking it on 63 St after December 8. So yeah, join me as we take our final ride on the (M) Train to Forest Hills-71 Av via 53 St.
