Returning to Our Favorite Summer Park...But This Time, Something Scared Me....

We returned to Point Farms Provincial Park, one of our family’s favourite summer destinations. This park has been part of our lives for over a decade, and it’s been amazing to see how our kids (and camping style) have grown along with our memories here.

In this episode, we share a mix of old and new: our familiar routine, relaxing moments by the fire, and beach days in beautiful Goderich—once called the prettiest town in Canada (by Queen Elizabeth II).

But this year’s trip took a surprising turn. I challenged myself with a long swim out to a buoy… and found myself struggling to get back. It was a moment that caught me off guard and reminded me that even peaceful trips can test us in unexpected ways.
