This is my far, the biggest response I’ve caught yet.
On Saturday April 26, 2025, the North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to a house fire on Embargo Place. First Asst. Chief Michael Elco (1-8-31) was the first unit that responded and was advised by BCFA that there were numerous calls being taken on this alarm. The full mutual aid plan was activated due to the amount of calls and the amount of smoke showing. Upon arrival, the working fire was immediately transmitted. The fire extended to an additional exposure which made command ask for additional mutual aids to the scene. All units were under the command of Chief of the FD, Peter Alt (1-8-30).
Mutual Aids:
West Islip - Truck & Ambulance (3-17-4, 3-17-18)
