Arizona State Troopers Pursue Police Impersonator

According to the AZ DPS Captain on scene,
An AZ DPS trooper was passed by a red Jeep with flashing red and blue LED emergency lights on eastbound I-10 near 35th Avenue in Phoenix shortly before 2:00 AM.
The Jeep was traveling at speeds in excess of 100 mph while passing the trooper.
The trooper caught up to the speeding Jeep and quickly confirmed that the vehicle was not affiliated with any law enforcement agency.
The trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the Jeep, but the police impersonator refused to stop and continued to accelerate at high speed.
The trooper initiated a pursuit and called for additional DPS resources.
The Phoenix Police Air Unit responded and located the pursuit as it passed through the Deck Park Tunnel going east on I-10.
The suspect entered the eastbound Red Mountain 202 from the I-10, maintaining speeds above 100 mph while still displaying flashing red and blue emergency lights.
The pursuit made its way through Phoenix and into the City of Tempe on the 202.
The suspect exited the 202 at Priest Drive and then entered a residential neighborhood off of Priest and University Drive.
Troopers and Tempe Police patrol units converged on the suspects vehicle as it fled south on South Albert Avenue near West 7th Place.
A DPS trooper was able to successfully deploy a Grappler Police Bumper on the Jeep, bringing the vehicle to sudden stop.
An adult male passenger bailed from the Jeep on foot while the driver and multiple passengers remained inside.
Troopers initiated a high risk traffic stop on the Jeep, arresting the adult female driver and detaining multiple passengers.
Troopers and Tempe Police quickly established a perimeter around the neighborhood as the Air Unit searched for the outstanding passenger that fled on foot.
The Phoenix Police helicopter located the fleeing passenger hiding in a nearby backyard and began issuing commands from a loudspeaker.
Troopers and Tempe Police surrounded the property and issued several more verbal commands to the suspect.
The suspect was non-compliant.
Troopers and Tempe officers assembled an arrest team and made entry into the backyard of the home.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The adult female driver will be booked on multiple charges including police impersonation and felony / unlawful flight.
The passenger who fled from the vehicle will also be booked on multiple charges.
The additional passengers inside the vehicle were detained during the process of the investigation and later released on scene.
