Middle Tennessee to North Carolina and Back, Leg #7. The Blue Ridge Parkway Northbound towards Asheville, NC.
Please sit back and relax and enjoy the 7th leg of this wonderful adventure!
This leg sees me do something I have NEVER done and that is TURN RIGHT onto the Blue Ridge Parkway coming out of Cherokee, NC. I normally head up Newfound Gap Rd back to Gatlinburg, but NOT TODAY.
I could not have chosen a better day, nor a better route this day as the clouds, sunlight, and the mountains unfold for some SPECTACULAR views. I hope you like this leg as much as I did! I was AMAZED at how different the views are between Cherokee and Gatlinburg VS THIS new route for me from Cherokee to Asheville.
I will do this again!!
