Although warm temperatures kept autumn at bay for a while, the color has crept into the Midwest.
On October 22nd, 2021, I headed up to Michigan to catch the Cadillac South Turn, and ended up chasing all the way to North Star when light ran out. Leading the train was classic GP35 390, now plying the rails of the Ann Arbor Railroad for almost 60 years on a set of trade-in Alco trucks! I enjoy any opportunity to catch these vintage 2nd-Gen geeps on home rails.
