In 2016 dessigner Nicholas Overstreet had an idea to fashion bow ties from oyster shells after hosting a Friendsgiving oyster roast, and his business Boysterous was born. Two years later, he showed his creations at Charleston Fashion Week, where the accessories were a hit.
