If you don't know what a Glup Shitto is, here is the description from Google:
"Glup Shitto" is a derogatory but also affectionate term originating from Star Wars fandom for a minor, obscure, or background character who is unknown to casual fans but beloved by hardcore fans. It can also be used more broadly for similar characters in other fictional works. The term was coined on Tumblr around 2020 to humorously describe fan excitement for these characters, who often become the focus of intense fan interest despite their small roles.
Origin: The name originated in Star Wars fandom on Tumblr around 2020 and was initially a parody of fan excitement over character announcements.
Original application: It was first used to refer to obscure characters from the Star Wars expanded universe (now known as Legends) or background characters in the main movies who suddenly reappear in new media. A famous example is Max Rebo, who reappeared in The Book of Boba Fett after presumably dying on Jabba's barge in Return of the Jedi.
Broader application: The term has since been adopted to describe any minor character in any fictional work that has a disproportionately large fan following, even if the character is not well-known to the general public.
Usage: It is often used humorously or with endearment, though it can be considered vulgar or derogatory depending on the context. Some fans use it to mock the intensity of fandom, while others use it as a term of affection for characters like Zeb from Star Wars Rebels.
