I Was Addicted To Gambling At 16 Years Old | The Other Side | Channel 4 Documentaries

Lewis first became addicted to gambling as a teenager after a significant win. This early success ignited a passion that quickly spiralled out of control, leading to persistent problems that followed him into adulthood. We had the opportunity to interview Lewis at two pivotal moments: before he began his recovery journey and now - 18 months in. During these conversations, he shared his experiences and challenges, including a difficult relapse that tested his resolve.

Reflecting on his life before and after recovery, Lewis provided a raw and honest perspective on the transformation he underwent. When we revisited the same set of interview questions one year later, watching the footage of himself from both interviews, Lewis' change in perspective was profound.
