Let the holy waters wash me, refining the heart of light.
Burn away harmful spells, dissolve the shadows of hostility.
Draw me into Your nearness, O lady of protection, O lady of shielding.
Break the power of oppression; let peace flourish within my house.

Make this house a vessel of Your magic, filled with Your radiance.
Give protection to the children and to the beloved ones.
Grant life in this land, and life through Your everlasting name.
Let Your knowledge live in my heart, Your queenship shine over the great horizon.

Anok em sa-nek, mek ren-i her sety-nek.

Dju neni em mw djeser, saqeb ib akhu;
Sefek khekau qeti, meskhen sethu besyu.
Mek-i em qhenet khen-nek, nebet shed, nebet sa.
Khesef sekhem en qesfet, weser hetep em per-i.

Per pen heka, heka em sanet-nek.
Meket sa en mesyu, sa en meryu.
Ankh em ta pen, ankh em ren-nek.
Rekhet-nek her-ib-i, sutenet-nek her hedj-wer.

Aset, weret heka, seti em ib-i, seti em ka-i.
Maat her-ib ren-nek, hetep her-ib per pen.
Aset, hemut-i, ari en-i hetep, ari en-i sa, ari en-i shed.

⭐ IMPORTANT
This chant is spoken in Ancient Egyptian (Classical Middle Egyptian) — the mdw nṯr, “divine speech” of Kemet.

It is the tongue carved into temple walls and whispered by priests at dawn, the language of hymns, invocations, and sacred rites. These were the words carried on incense smoke in sanctuaries along the Nile, the living breath of the Netjeru.

To speak in this voice is to awaken heka — the power of utterance that shapes reality.
It is to call the gods of Egypt in the very language once offered to their ears.

How to use this chant:

On Your Altar —
“Let the voice rise through flame and smoke, as in the temples of old. May incense, water, and light carry your prayer to the Netjeru.”

During Ritual or Invocation —
“Let this be the current of heka, the living speech of Kemet — a bridge between shrine and sky, between mortal breath and divine ear.”

For Meditation and Trance —
“Let the rhythm steady your heart as the Nile, let it soften your body as lotus on water, and draw you into the silence where the gods dwell.”

As a Guardian While Away —
“Leave it playing to seal the house in Ma’at. Let sound itself become a ward, that the Netjeru watch in your absence.”

For Sleep —
“Play this as you drift into sacred rest. Let the chant carry you into the Duat, where dreams open like papyrus and the gods walk beside you.”
