After the fall of Davoth in the events of the Ancient Gods, Doom Slayer was put to rest until he is needed once again...
With the demons unable to leave hell, a new mysterious evil has opened a portal from hell to outworld. The Seraphims are worried that if outworld can't stop the demons, then it may be too late. So left with no other choice,they awaken the Slayer to deal with this demonic invasion...
