Also because of the design of the Spring Drive movement the Grand Seiko will run decades without any issues. No need to spend money on expensive "service". The large dial on this 43mm watch makes it more legible than the Rolex Submariner. Also the fine points at the end of the hour and minute hand make it easy to read the exact time. The clasp on the GS is also heavy duty and very easy to adjust. The lume on the GS is amazing. The biggest advantage that the GS has is the special grade 5 titanium. All in all the Grand Seiko easily trumps the Rolex Submariner as a heavy use sport watch.
