This game is one of the pinnacles of pre-redbook audio era of PC gaming music (with itself also receiving CD releases later including a PlayStation port), this being the darker toned SC-55 version of the MIDI soundtrack and one of the most driving sci-fi style PC game soundtracks from the 90s. The long standing destination for Descent fans Planet Descent has hosted pretty much all Descent music but the links to download the files seem to be dead right now. Either way I am adding just a tiny bit of tweaking to the audio to differentiate this from the work the awesome people on that forum have done over the years.
